IPE selects charity of choice

The Armstrong branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will be featured during the fair in August.

Armstrong’s Interior Provincial Exhibition has selected its charity of choice.

The Armstrong branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will be featured during the fair in August.

“We look forward to working with them, not only as we have in the past, but in the year 2017, with greater effort to celebrate the 150th year of the Confederation of Canada, our military past and present, and the contributions and roll of the Royal Canadian Legion in our community and in our country,” said Ted Fitchett, IPE president.

The branch provides bursaries and scholarships as well as a Wheels to Meals program, housing and the poppy campaign and more
