Lights tour a hit

Vernon Transit raised a total of $1,052 for the Salvation Army food bank during its Christmas Light Tour

The lights of the season proved popular.

Vernon Transit raised a total of $1,052 for the Salvation Army food bank during its Christmas Light Tour.

“We express a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported the tour,” said Wendy Majewski, the city’s transportation demand management co-ordinator.

“We also wish to express our thanks to the transit operators and volunteers who made these tours such a success.”
