Fun was had by all and money was raised for some good causes at The Harvest Golf Course on Wednesday, May 24.

The Kelowna Chamber hosted their 38th annual golf tournament and raised more than $3,500, which is going towards the Agnes Parke Memorial Society, in aid of Parkinson’s Disease Research as well as the Kelowna Gospel Mission and the UBC Okanagan Heat Golf program.

“It was another great day, another opportunity for Chamber members to unwind their swings and meet some new business connections,” said Chamber President Dan Price. “We’re very appreciative to Parke Pacific and all our sponsors this year.”

“The Chamber and its members do so much in and for our community,” said UBCO Athletics and Recreation Director Tom Huisman. “Their generosity helps support our UBCO Heat golf program, ignites the spirit of sportsmanship, nurtures talent, and helps foster the dreams of some of our highest calibre student-athletes.”

144 golfers took part in the action.
