Morning Star giving away golf passes to The Rise

Latest contest for golf passes following IPE pass contest won by Bob Rochon of Armstrong

Morning Star readers have another swing at winning some swag.

The North Okanagan’s best read newspaper is offering up not one, but two passes for two to the Golf Club at The Rise.

“There will be two winners in this contest,” said Ian Jensen, Morning Star publisher. “We’re giving away two passes and each pass is for a round of golf for two at The Rise with a power cart.”

Having just taken a few swings at the Fred Couples signature course, Jensen says the panoramic views of Vernon and Okanagan Lake make it a top tee off spot.

“It’s unreal, a great course with unbelievable views. It’s lot of fun.”

The Rise Golf contest follows The Morning Star’s giveaway of a five-day pass to the Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede, which runs today through Sunday in Armstrong.

Armstrong resident Bob Rochon was the winner of the random draw, out of 915 entries.
