PHOTOS: Caps fly as Vernon Secondary celebrates grad

Grade 12 class gathers on the front steps of school for official grad photo

Caps flew, as Vernon Secondary School (VSS) celebrated the class of 2023 with an official graduation photo.

Hundreds of graduating seniors donned their caps and gowns on Wednesday, June 21, for the official photos.

Historically taken on the steps of the courthouse, VSS has shifted to the school steps for the past few years.

It’s graduation season across the Northern Okanagan, as VSS is among other schools to get their snaps done, including A.L. Fortune, Pleasant Valley, Charles Bloom, Kal Secondary, W.L. Seaton and Clarence Fulton.

The final school in the North Okanagan to get their photo taken, Vernon Christian, will be at O’Keefe Ranch on Friday, June 23 for their official photo.

Congratulations to the class of 2023!

Make sure to check out all the grads in a special section in Thursday’s Morning Star newspaper.
