R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum’s own past was celebrated over the weekend.
On Saturday, July 8, the 60th anniversary of the Salmon Arm heritage attraction was marked with a celebration that included the grand opening of the numerous Montebello Block exhibits as well as the Children’s Museum and outdoor play area.
The day provided opportunities to learn about local history, either from historians at the exhibits or inside the Montebello Museum. There were also plenty of opportunities to enjoy food, fun and games.
