Project Literacy Central Okanagan Society has been chosen as the Kelowna Women in Business Charity Partner of the year.

Women in Business is a not for profit society that works to facilitate beneficial opportunities for people in Kelowna.

Project Literacy works to support and literacy and educational resources for all people including adults, refugees, immigrant families, children and seniors. The organization provides one on one tutoring to help people achieve their reading and digital literacy goals.

Now as charity partners, Kelowna Women in Business will support Project Literacy’s mission throughout the year through fundraising and volunteer-led initiatives.

“Their dedication to improving literacy in our community aligns perfectly with our values of empowering and uplifting individuals. We look forward to working closely with them to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those they serve,” said Kelowna Women in Business president Danica Dutt.
