Okanagan residents can attend a town hall discussion on federal electoral reform.
The Special Committee on Electoral Reform is leading a national consultation process on federal electoral reform and MPs are hosting town hall gatherings.
The Okanagan event will be hosted by Kelowna-Lake Country MP Stephen Fuhr Monday at 6 p.m. at the University of B.C.’s Okanagan campus (Arts and Science Building room 140).
The committee is currently studying alternate voting systems to replace the first-past-the-post system, as well considering mandatory voting and online voting.
