The Regional District of Central Okanagan’s 2015 annual review has been released.
“It’s an excellent overview of our accomplishments for the past year,” said Bruce Smith, communications officer. “But more importantly, it outlines our goals, initiatives and plans for all of our programs and services for the rest of this new year.”
Among the initiatives proposed for 2016:
Construction of major capital improvements for the Killiney Beach and Westshore Estates water systems.
Work with residents in regional crime prevention participating areas to expand the Block Watch Crime Prevention program and expand the Speed Watch program.
“Our 41-page colour publication explains the wide range of services and programs provided by the regional district,” said Smith.
