After three years of navigating the virtual landscape, Kalamalka Rotary brought the 39th Annual Dream Auction Back in Black.
The much-anticipated event saw attendees adorned in their finest attire, bringing back the glamour and excitement of live auctions at the Prestige Vernon Lodge Saturday, Nov. 18.
Dynamic auctioneering duo, Don, and Brody Raffan, called the shots as more than 360 guests bid in the live and silent auctions which helped raise a remarkable $237,456.
“The funds raised will fuel our ongoing commitment to service and community betterment,” said president Tom Lewis. “I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who participated, and I am excited about the positive impact we will continue to make together.”
The funds raised will be channeled towards various community projects and initiatives. Organizations and groups seeking project funding are encouraged to apply online at kalrotary.ca/dream-auction/funding-requests.
“Reflecting on the success of the 39th Annual Dream Auction, I am humbled by the incredible support of our community. The energy in the room was electrifying, and it’s a testament to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our sponsors,” said Dream Auction chair Brian Reid. “Together, we are making a tangible difference, and I want to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who contributed.”
Kalamalka Rotary looks forward to continuing its tradition of community engagement and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.
