High school and elementary students sorting bottles to fund celebrations

As graduates are finally able to celebrate restriction-less, many are hoping to mark the special occasion in a big way for 2022.

Fundraising is in full swing, with grads hosting sales, an online auction and more. Bottle drives are one popular way students are funding their activities. In fact, two groups of Class of 2022 graduates are hoping to take your empties off your hands this Sunday, May 29 at Chaser’s Bottle Depot.

Clarence Fulton Secondary Grade 12 students will be at the 31st Street collection centre from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Then from 1:30 to 4 p.m. the BX Elementary Grade 7 students will be sorting empties for their festivities.

Anyone with bottles, cans, juice boxes can just drive up and the students will unload the empties for you.
