Trail signs will be going up at the Thomas Hayes Ecological Reserve.

Armstrong and Spallumcheen have signed on for new signage at the Thomas Hayes Ecological Reserve.

Each will contribute $282.50. Armstrong Spallumcheen Trails Society volunteers will organize and install the signs.

The proposed sign design for the ecological reserve is based on a format created by the Shuswap Trails Alliance of Salmon Arm, and implemented in the North Okanagan and Shuswap.

“The nice thing about that is you get some consistency of people coming up and down the valley and looking at the trails,” said Armstrong Coun. Paul Britton.
