Test drive benefits Armstrong high school

Ford’s Drive 4UR School program at Pleasant Valley Secondary to raise funds for dry grad

Test driving a new car will benefit Armstrong-Spallumcheen students.

On Saturday, April 23, Watkin Motors and Pleasant Valley Secondary School are joining forces to raise up to $6,000 for Dry Grad 2016 as part of Ford’s Drive 4UR School program.

“Members of the Armstrong and area community will have the opportunity to raise money for the PVSS dry grad by test driving a Ford vehicle,” said parent Carol Hill-Lonergan.

“For every person who test drives an eligible Ford vehicle at this one-day event, Ford of Canada will donate $20 to PVSS. These funds will go towards making our casino-themed dry grad event a huge success and encourage the kids to spend their evening in a safe, fun environment.”

Ford’s Drive 4UR School runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school at 2365 Pleasant Valley Rd.
