Tim Hortons Camp Day raises $25,000

The North Okanagan has pulled through to send some special kids to camp.

Tim Hortons Camp Day (Wednesday) raised approximately $25,000 in Armstrong, Enderby and all of Vernon.

“It was a great day,” said owner Dan Currie.

Those funds will make a difference in the lives of several kids with the opportunity to attend summer camp and take in all the team building, confidence boosting and fun experiences.

“We send two kids for each store,” said Currie.

Although numbers are down slightly over last year, which Currie attributes to the generosity which has gone to get people set up and back home following the northern fires.
