Trees support Search and Rescue

The non-profit agency will once again host its Christmas tree fundraiser

Christmas is all about families and that’s also the primary focus of Vernon Search and Rescue.

The non-profit agency will once again host its Christmas tree fundraiser to ensure it has sufficient resources to reunite individuals who are lost or injured with their family.

“It’s one of a few fundraisers that we have throughout the year to purchase equipment and supplies and cover training for members to attend off-site courses,” said Maria Doyle, with SAR.

“All members are professional volunteers dedicated to helping those that are lost and injured.”

Trees will be sold by donation from Monday to Sunday.

Trees will be sold at the SAR hall on Aberdeen Road in Coldstream (next to the regional district):

Dec. 8 – 3 to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 9 – 3 to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 10 – 3 to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 11 – 3 to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 12 – 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Dec. 13 – 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
