The Abbeyfield Houses of Vernon Society holds its annual general meeting Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the Abbeyfield Vernon house on 27th Avenue.

It's part of a global network of non-profit housing options for seniors.

The focus is on affordability, community, and providing a safe, inclusive, supportive living environment.

And the Abbeyfield Houses of Vernon Society invites you to join them.

The society will hold its annual general meeting Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Vernon's Abbeyfield House (3511 – 27th Avenue).

The AGM is open to all who are interested in attending or learning more about the society's work, and the society says the meeting is a great chance for the community to engage with the society, learn about its initiatives, and explore opportunities to become involved.

"We encourage everyone to mark their calendars and join us for this important event," said Nicole Kohnert, president of the Abbeyfield Houses of Vernon Society. "Please feel free to share this announcement with anyone who may be interested in supporting our mission to provide a safe, caring, and affordable living environment for seniors in Vernon."

The society looks forward to welcoming attendees and values the community’s ongoing support and involvement.
