Wolf advocate in town

Sadie Parr will speak about the role wolves play in B.C.’s ecosystem

An advocate for wolves is bringing her concerns for the species to Vernon.

Sadie Parr will speak about the role wolves play in B.C.’s ecosystem at Trinity United Church Wednesday at 1 p.m.

“British Columbia needs to stop killing wolves and start protecting one of the last functioning predator-prey ecosystems in the world,” said Parr, former director of the Canadian Wolf Coalition.

Wednesday’s presentation is being organized by Jungyon Drake, a local conservationist.

Trinity United Church is located 3300 Alexis Park Dr. in Vernon.
