In celebration of International Women’s Day, Vernon ladies are urged to Be Bold for Change.
Encouraging everyone to help forge a better working world - a more gender inclusive world - KPMG hosts an evening of networking Wednesday, March 8 at the Vernon Public Art Gallery from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event is aimed to foster networking and experience-sharing opportunities with other business owners and professionals in the Vernon community.
As part of the event, they will be collecting donations of gently-used women’s business and casual attire for the Community Futures North Okanagan Bridge Workshop to benefit women who are underemployed or unemployed. Clothing and accessories must be clean and in good condition.
The event, which includes appetizers and a glass of wine, costs $20.
