Find some treasures while helping Vernon’s homeless this weekend.

Packman Opens Hearts is hosting a garage sale Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9, from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. There will be a barbecue with pop, juice, coffee by donation along with raffles, door prizes, gift baskets and baking.

All proceeds will go towards assisting the group in helping feed as many hungry bellies as possible.

Packman Opens Hearts was created by Tracey Griffin and her husband Jimmy Miller. They take their truck, stuff it with food and clothes and distribute the items to the less-fortunate. Every Monday, at the Wholesale Club parking lot at 2501, 34th Street, the two are there to help those who need it. The Millers are the owners/operators of the AAA Packman Moving and Labour Services.

The garage sale will take place at 2305 45th Ave.

The group is still in desperate need of donations. For more information, visit their Facebook group, or donate to their GoFundMe.
