The National Film Board presents A Better Man at the Vernon Public Library at 6 p.m. Jan. 30.

Illuminating a new paradigm for domestic-violence prevention, A Better Man offers a fresh and nuanced look at the healing and revelation that can happen for everyone involved when men take responsibility for their abuse.

The film is presented by The Vernon Women’s Transition House Society and the Okanagan Regional Library. A community discussion will follow the screening. This is a free community event.

This film deals with mature subject matter. Viewer discretion is advised.
