As spring fills the air, it also provides the perfect backdrop to the Lake Country Art Gallery’s latest exhibition.
Garden of Earthly Delights and Objects of Desire is a showcase of “artwork, objects of desire, and a community coming together to build a creative future,” stated the gallery in a release.
“At Lake Country Art Gallery, we believe in growing together — toward a shared vision of a thriving, inclusive community that champions the arts,” said the gallery.
This exhibition is also a fundraiser, that will support the gallery’s efforts to keep spaces open that support vibrant, relevant, and guided by artist-led voices.
“If you believe in the role of public art galleries — in their power, their necessity, and their ability to connect and inspire — now is the time to stand with us,” echoed the gallery.
The exhibit Garden of Earthly Delights and Objects of Desire will open on May 3 at 1 p.m. and all art will be available for purchase.
Then on May 10, join Dining Artfully, a dining experience that blends culinary delights with the beauty of art. The night will include a meal, live music, aerial performances, spoken word poetry, and a live art auction. This fundraising event will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
