Do you have a great story to tell? November is National Novel Writing Month. Beginning today (November 1) ambitious amateur, or not-so-amateur writers can register with NaNoWriMo and and begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. on November 30. Those interesting in taking the challenge are not required to register, but veteran NaNoWriMo novelists say the non-profit organization offers plenty of useful tips, tools and advice to keep writers motivated.
Vernon residents who take the challenge are urged to contact the Morning Star upon their completion of the month-long challenge and give us a behind-the-scenes look at how you completed your novel.
