At Studio e it’s all about events, energy, excitement and excellence and the husband and wife team of Neil and Sherrie Erickson are also adding enthusiasm as they look forward to the open house for their newly named art studio/yoga studio and events centre.
Neil Erickson is an artist, painter and renaissance man who has single-handedly renovated every building on the property, including the couple’s 1935 heritage home.
“He has also renovated our barn into my yoga studio and his art studio/gallery,” said Sherrie, a singer/songwriter and yoga instructor. “I have built up a community of wonderful yoga students and now also offer our space for small events such as weddings, meeting room space, workshops, retreats and anything that requires a space for people to gather.”
Studio e will host an open house Friday, Nov. 24 and all are welcome to drop by and enjoy an art show, live music, wine and cheese and pick up some information on yoga classes.
“We are excited to invite the community to come and see our space, enjoy a glass of wine, view some of Neil’s new paintings and I’ll perform a short set of music singing a few originals and covers and sharing what we have to offer,” said Sherrie. “The e represents Erickson, events, energy, excitement, engaging, exhale, entertainment, evolving, extraordinary, enlightening, enlightenment, excitement and everything excellent
“This is a magical place where people come to relax, heal, create and experience a breath of fresh air on the outskirts of Vernon but only a three-minute drive to downtown.”
