In response to the to the group of people offended by pickleball courts being built at Marshall Field.

Armstrong issues

The City of Armstrong should be responsible for controlling foul, unhealthy and dangerous fumes coming from the open sewage pond. The second item is spraying sitting water to control the mosquito population.

Politicians

Citizens try to elect politicians that they think will represent their views and opinions.

Meter money

With regards to the City of Vernon, I have asked where the money goes for the money made with the parking meters for the year.

No sugar

I want to commend Davison Orchards for its new line of apple butter, peach and cherry jam that is sugar free. It is made with Stevia. You guys rock!

Thank you so much to the kind soul who found and turned in my purse to the staff of the Tim Horton’s on Easter Monday. My life was in that bag.

The May 5 letter to the editor on the Kinder Morgan Pipeline expansion to the West Coast suggests this is an environmental disaster waiting to happen and therefore, should not be built.

If I am in my basement bedroom with the door shut and wearing custom made earplugs and I can still hear a skydiving plane, then there is obviously a problem with the noise level.

Rail trail short-sighted

I read the letters in this paper and others because it reinforces my thoughts that there are good thinking, switched-on people out there with some realistic visions.
