Letters

Full of yes

Who ever thought that a surplus budget could also be mismanagement by government?

Stickle process defended

Over the last number of months, I’ve read many letters regarding Stickle Road — many against and some for the proposal.

Electoral reform

The comments made by B. Cousins are wrong on so many levels, and anybody who believes those comments does a disservice to their sense of what is honest, and to all that Mel Arnold has done to bring meaningful dialogue back to this riding since he was elected.

Speed

I cannot thank the elderly citizens of Vernon and surrounding areas enough for their contribution to our great piece of dirt in this part of Canada.

Common sense

I would like to thank John Raikes for his information on the decision surrounding Stickle Road.

An ever-changing world

We live in a rapidly changing world, and it is not all because of the advances in technology, communications or social media. Climate change and political upheaval have for several millennia caused the populations of the continents to shift and devolve. Religious and cultural changes have always shifted with the movement of peoples.

Electoral reform

Reading Mel Arnold’s comments is like listening to a broken recording. It’s just same old, same old. Attack the opposition at any opportunity but provide no real answers.

On life support

Slowly, piece by little piece, sneakily and quietly, we are losing our universal health care system in Canada.

Thank you

While shopping in downtown Vernon Feb. 17, I lost my wallet.
