Bus leaves disabled Armstrong patron on the curb

This is a letter to BC Transit regarding the transportation setup now.

It seems the bus stops have been relocated because of decisions made by Victoria head office.

Normally the locations of bus stops were on opposite side of street, now they are approximately two blocks distances apart having seniors now to find the new locations a distance from where they boarded the bus.

The new locations came with new rules which state: no standing in aisle and if all seats are taken they leave you.

My wife experienced it at Kindale in Armstrong where they pickup disabled patrons and caregivers. The bus, which is a smaller bus, left a disabled person and their caregiver on the curb!

The fee to take a cab to Vernon is $50 one way. The smaller bus holds less passengers and the aisle way has been reduced, so walking sideways down the aisle is necessary.

This bus services Enderby, Armstrong and Vernon. Many seniors require this transportation for appointments in Vernon to the labs at hospitals.

What I understand now is that since Armstrong, Enderby are cities these new rules pertain. So if these rules are for a city why now a smaller bus, which has smaller seating capacity plus narrow walkways so any normal person can hardly walk down them?

What do the people left on the curb do, pay $50 each way for appointments for medical appointments? What if  the caregiver is told to stay and disabled can board?

Making decisions from some one I assume is told to.

What about the seniors?
