I start this letter with such appreciate for the outstanding residents in our work zones this year.
Okanagan Traffic Control Prof. Inc. has taken on some large road construction projects, proudly the walking path in Lumby, the road widening on Husband Road and a large water main replacement in Coldstream, much to people's chagrin when we started.
We always do our best to efficiently move our traffic around the crew and hazards challenging us and sometimes closing roads.
The company has been in business for 24 years but it has stood out to myself and my team how kind we've been treated this year.
I mean there's always one cranky person but we are so appreciative to the school buses recognizing our efforts with not only smiles, waves, the odd plant, but gift cards to Tim's and just kind gestures of our sometimes difficult situation.
In a world of turmoil and division being directly in the line of commuting traffic it has become evident that Vernon and surrounding areas are still one of the best communities to live in!
