Is anybody really listening to our planet and wildlife asking for help?

How can a developer be such a smooth talker and convince two small rural communities that 6,000 extra in each small town equals 12,000 in total, good for rural communities?

They love going into places that are sensitive ecosystems, ripping up all the trees and land, and saying, "WE are helping the ecosystem for the greater good"  all to line their pockets.

They've developed all the land they can all around Vancouver and the outskirts. On the Island where I was living, it did not take them long to take any green space to build on. I think there were just two little parks left and you know they're probably eyeing them. Couldn't find parking any more in the small malls. No extra doctors. So how is this going to be any different? We have no walk-in clinics, and our hospital, can it take an extra 12,000 people?

How can developers say they have a handle on getting all the water they need when we are on strict water restrictions? Do they know something we don't because we sure could use all that unlimited water resource? (like the stupid person says in the USA we have).

Please can anybody explain to me how they can so conveniently get everything changed in places humans have no right to go and destroy? Money, greed, and promises they'll never keep.
