Letters

BX transit

This is in regards to Juliette Cunningham’s comment about transit use by BX residents Feb 26.

Trump

On Feb. 22, a woman wrote a response which sounded more like a rant to a gentleman who simply felt offended by a cartoon published Feb. 3.

Chamber position criticized

I see the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is praising the Clark government’s election budget.

Climate change

Every once in awhile, a letter is published stating that increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is OK because plants thrive on it. This is true but only for a short duration until the process is effectively stopped by other factors. Plants can only absorb so much CO2, and after that point, more CO2 does nothing.

Trump

Making the kinds of public statements that he does, I have to believe that Donald Trump craves attention however he can get it.

Speed

I cannot thank the elderly citizens of Vernon and surrounding areas enough for their contribution to our great piece of dirt in this part of Canada.

Stickle process defended

Over the last number of months, I’ve read many letters regarding Stickle Road — many against and some for the proposal.

Common sense

I would like to thank John Raikes for his information on the decision surrounding Stickle Road.

Full of yes

Who ever thought that a surplus budget could also be mismanagement by government?

Electoral reform

The comments made by B. Cousins are wrong on so many levels, and anybody who believes those comments does a disservice to their sense of what is honest, and to all that Mel Arnold has done to bring meaningful dialogue back to this riding since he was elected.
