Artists can enter Ribbon Show

The Armstrong Spallumcheen Museum and Art Gallery is calling for entries for its 23rd annual Ribbon Show.

The Armstrong Spallumcheen Museum and Art Gallery is calling for entries for its 23rd annual Ribbon Show.

The art show, which starts the same week as the Interior Provincial Exhibition, is open to exhibitors from the Okanagan and Shuswap regions, and ribbons will be awarded in various categories.

Exhibitors may submit one entry in each of the following categories ($5 per entry): oil, watercolour, pastel, acrylic, drawing, portrait, mixed media and youth ages 15 to 20 years.

Those wishing to participate can drop off their artwork at the gallery, 3415 Pleasant Valley Rd., Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pick up is Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
