Melodic hard rockers Broken Ride have announced dates for their  Wreckless Heart Western Canadian tour in support of their full-length album, Everything Considered, released earlier this year.

The Calgary band detours off the Trans- Canada to play a show at the Riverfront Pub in Grindrod, Friday, Oct. 14.

“We’re very eager to hit the road. It’s just a l’il teaser compared to our upcoming two-month tour in March 2012, but we always love making new fans, and seeing familiar faces,” said lead vocalist Graham Furber.

“We are really excited to share the songs from the new album, Everything Considered, and show all our fans how much energy our live show has.”

Everything Considered is the follow up to Broken Ride’s debut EP Out of Control that was produced by Chris Burke-Gaffney (Chantal Kreviazuk, McMaster & James) and Dale Penner (Nickelback, Loverboy), along with being mastered by Grammy Award-winner Adam Ayan.

Drawing comparisons to Three Doors Down, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace for their emotion-driven lyrics and catchy songwriting, Broken Ride have already completed two Canadian tours along with showcasing at Canadian Music Week in Toronto the past two years.

They have also shared the stage with well-known rockers such as Seether, Econoline Crush, Hail The Villian, Thornley, Armchair Cynics and 54:40.

Broken Ride takes to the stage at the Riverfront Pub on Highway 97A, in the heart Grindrod, Oct. 14.

The 19-plus show starts at 9 p.m. and there is no cover charge at the door.
