Wedding treats, fashions and customs from around the world at the Interfaith Wedding Celebration Nov. 29 at Durali Villa in Vernon.

The latest event from the Interfaith Bridging Project brought out a large crowd of people who wandered through the luxurious Durali Villa and had the chance to experience some of the customs of other faiths and cultures, as well as the clothes from Sikh, Muslim, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Mexican, Filipino and western traditions.

Guests also had the chance to try on a variety of outfits, including those from Akira Ellen Hanson and Mollie Bono with Molakira’z Dezignz.

The free, family event was also a way of giving back, as “wedding guests” were asked to bring a gift suitable for a child, woman, man or family to be given back to an organization who gives Christmas gifts to those in need.
