Country rock duo are still in tune

Lisa Nicole and Jason Thomas met as teens and now the solo country artists are joining forces for two shows in the North Okanagan

Fast-forward a few years and the two musicians are touring and bringing their show to Lorenzo’s Cafe in Enderby on Friday as well as a daytime show at the Talkin’ Donkey in Vernon.

It’s part of Lisa’s It Got Ugly Tour.

“We both have our own CD’s out but work together as a dynamic country rock duo act,” she said. “We have collaborated on many different projects from playing music festivals, bars, cafes and theatres together to co-writing a tune on my current EP.”

From her home in Vancouver and his in Trail, they’ll travel to the Okanagan to play Lorenzo’s at 8 p.m. on Friday, and the Talkin’ Donkey at 11 a.m.

Lisa’s first single If You Say You Do can be found on country radio stations across Canada.

Jason has just released his CD Git R’ Done.
