John Fogerty has fans singing, dancing and clapping along to CCR's biggest hits at Kelowna's Prospera Place Thursday.

John Fogerty played to a sold out crowd Thursday in Kelowna at Prospera Place.

On Fogerty’s current tour, he is focusing on playing tunes from two vintage CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival) records. The Kelowna audience was treated to songs from the 1969 Bayou Country album, along with many other memorable CCR and solo hits.

The two-hour show had fans singing, dancing and clapping along. From Fogerty’s last performance in K-town, he has enhanced his show with pyrotechnics, half dozen video screens, smoke and dry ice filling the stage floor with fog.

The audience played an important part in the performance as it was being video taped.

Opening act was Lukas Nelson, yes, Willie’s son, who performed a 40-minute set. Young Lukas did a great job of warming up the crowd for the ‘70s icon.
