The 2017 horse showing season is winding down.

The Armstrong Enderby Riding Club (AERC) will be hosting their final show of the season Sept. 24 at the IPE grounds in Armstrong at 9 a.m.

Come ride, come help out or just come and cheer the riders on — everyone is welcome.

Volunteers are always needed, and more than welcome to help at the shows — without our volunteers, there would be no show. No experience is needed and if you are interested in volunteering or sitting on the board of directors, just send us a message and we would be happy to talk with you.

Our year-end pot luck awards banquet is on Nov. 4, at the Odd Fellows Hall in Armstrong and is open to the public. This year’s theme is Canada 150 and treasurer Lauri Meyers will be manning the mocktail bar with new themed drinks. Our banquet is always a lot of good, family-friendly fun.

People who are interested in volunteering or for more information, visit our web site at www.armstrongenderbyridingclub.com or find us on Facebook.
