High fidelity hits Vernon with the opening of a new used record store, which is hosting a live musical performance at its location on 30th Avenue, across from the Towne Theatre.

Eclectibles Quality Used Books and Vintage Vinyl Records is opening its doors to local musicians Luke Mortenson, a guitarist and sometimes singer for local band Paperboy, and Windmills (Cory Myraas of Paperboy, New Clear Sound fame), who is hot off of playing the Pop Okanagan Festival in Kelowna.

Both will perform Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m., as well as an evening set at 7 p.m.

“The matinée  performance follows a different format and will be a fun drop by to have a listen and browse the shop, while the evening performance is a ticketed affair with a limited amount of seats,” said Mortenson.

Both shows are for all ages and tickets for the Saturday night concert are $7 at the door, or email for more info.
