Scouts Canada gears up for new season

1st BX Beavers, Cubs and Scouts holds a registration night on Sept. 4 so kids and parents can find out more

Scouts Canada is alive and well in Vernon. To find out more about getting your child involved, there will be a registration night for 1st BX Beavers, Cubs and Scouts on Thursday.

“This is an opportunity for boys and girls aged five to 14 to experience adventures, learn about the outdoors, and build friendships,” said local Scouts Canada leader Kevin Bader.

Meet the leaders at the Vernon Scout Hut from 6 p.m. to 7:30 to learn more about Scouts and to register your child. The Hut is located at 1901-47th Ave., across from the BMX Park.
