Award winning contemporary southern gospel trio Three and Company will be coming to Vernon for a concert at Vernon Alliance Church Saturday.

The concert is part of a barbecue lunch, which starts at noon.

The Edmonton-based  group, which won the Gospel Music Association (GMA) award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year in 2008, will bring their smooth harmonies and encouraging songs to the performance.

Nominated for GMA awards in 2009 and 2010, Three and Company’s music has been played on XM/Sirius satellite radio. The title song of their award winning CD, I Believe, was written by Jimmy Fortune of the Statler brothers.

Three and Company members, Dale and Dianne Johnson, met Fortune in Mesa, AZ, where they had the chance to sing the song on stage with the famous vocalist.

Tickets are $8 and an offering will also be received. They are available at the Vernon Alliance office, but are limited in availability. Phone 250-545-7105 for more information.
