April 13: Born to Brad Ramsey and Kesha-Ann Fontaine of Vernon, B.C., a girl, 7 lbs. 13 oz, named Sapphire May Fontaine-Ramsey. A granddaughter for Nikki Fontaine, Joann McKay, Nelson White, all of Vernon. A great-granddaughter for the late Earlene and Ernie Fontaine, Lois and Wayne Redick of Trail, B.C.

April 14: Born to Jason Moores and Tara Ouellet of Vernon, B.C., a boy, 9 lbs. 1 oz., named Hunter William Allan Moores. A brother for Mallory Moores, 15. A grandson for Cindy and Danny Fisher of Vernon; Allan and Ruth Moores of Matapedia, Que. A great-grandson for Wilma Jourdain of Quesnel, B.C. A great-great grandson for Margaret Irving of Mann’s Mountain, N.B.

April 19: Born to Colin and Jessica Taylor of Armstrong, a girl, 7 lbs. 5 oz., named Brooke Claudette Taylor. A sister for Hunter, 9; Ian, 3. A granddaughter for Dennis Taylor of Vernon, B.C.; Monica Taylor of Armstrong, B.C.; Constance Robertson of Vernon; Shaun Robertson of Maple Ridge, B.C.

April 19: Born to Jesse and Lauren King of Vancouver, a boy, 7 lbs. 4 oz., named Mackenzie Shore King. A grandson for Sylvia and Bob Dilworth of Vernon, Irene and Brad Hall of Victoria, Stan King of Richmond, Bryan and Nancy Ghequiere of White Rock.
