Piano trio 3tissimo will be among the performers at the upcoming Vernon Registered Music Teachers’ Canada Music Week recital, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church.

Featuring violinist Alyshia Black, cellist Mark Casson and pianist Melanie Shum, these two-time winners of the Kelowna Chamber Music Society Scholarship, and runner up at this year’s Provincial Music Festival, will perform Love Song, composed by renowned Vernon composer Imant Raminsh.

Canada Music Week is the Vernon Registered Music Teachers’ opportunity to showcase their students playing Canadian compositions, and in addition to acknowledge the students who received the highest marks in voice, piano, violin and theory examinations over the past academic year.

The public is invited to the recital.  Admission is by donation, and proceeds will go toward student scholarships.
