Cole Bradley spent his childhood summers on Kalamalka Lake.

Now, he's going to entertain with the lake shimmering in the background.

Just a day before the Okanagan officially welcomes summer, Mackie Lake House in Coldstream will host country musician Bradley on Thursday, June 20. Doors open at 6 p.,m. and the music begins at 6:30 p.m.

For Bradley, it’s always been about summer.

It’s where he’s had his first brush with true love and his toughest of heartbreaks. His upbeat country anthems celebrate those moments in his life and will offer visitors the perfect way to welcome the season in one of the most iconic settings imaginable.

The Okanagan holds a special place in Bradley's heart, spending those childhood summers growing up on Kalamalka Lake Enjoying time out on the dock or on a boat is what, in part, inspired him to pursue a country music career in Nashville.

“The confidence from playing local farmers markets and singing at neighbours’ weddings on the lake helped me grow not only as an artist but as a person as well," said Bradley. It’s always an honour to be back in Coldstream playing in front of amazing crowds like at the Mackie House.”

“I had such an amazing time last year and I’m looking forward to another phenomenal show this coming Thursday, June 20. See you there!”

Mackie Lake House is a unique live-music venue in the Okanagan — nestled right on the shores of Kal Lake. It’s also where three families spent their summers over the course of 89 years, and where a love of the arts has united visitors since the early 1990s.

Mackie Lake House is a registered heritage site operated by a non-profit society with the mandate: to preserve and present the building, grounds, furnishings and related history of Mackie Lake House for the enjoyment and education of the public
