B.C. premier, health minister to make announcement at Vernon hospital

B.C. Premier David Eby and Health Minister Adrian Dix will be in Vernon Friday announcing a local project related to healthcare.

Eby and Dix will be joined by Vernon-Monashee MLA Harwinder Sandhu for what is said to be “an announcement about improving access to health care in Vernon and the North Okanagan.”

The news conference will take place Friday at 2 p.m. at the south entrance of Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

The province hasn’t released any further details about the announcement ahead of the news conference.
