Another broken water main in Coldstream has led to a traffic detour.
The southbound lane of McClounie Road, from Tassie Drive to Coldstream Creek Road, is closed until Oct. 4 to facilitate the repair of a broken water main and resulting road damage, the district said Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Detour signage is directing all traffic to take Tassie Drive back to Coldstream Creek Road.
Additionally, Coldstream Creek Road between Hillside Drive/McClounie Road and Priest Valley Drive will be closed in both directions Thursday, Sept. 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"The district thanks you for obeying all signage and traffic control personnel," the district said.
A previous water main break took place Aug. 29 and closed Coldstream Creek Road all day Aug. 30 while repairs were done. A water quality advisory is still in effect for the area.
