An injured skier was airlifted to the Vernon Airport Tuesday, March 19 and transferred to hospital by paramedics. (Jennifer Smith - Morning Star)

A skier was airlifted to the Vernon Airport on March 19.

Paramedics were waiting at the landing Tuesday morning to assist a male who was transported to Vernon Jubilee Hospital with injuries.

The extent of the injuries is unknown as the man was able to walk from the helicopter to the stretcher.
