The man accused of murdering a Lumby mother appeared via video conference in Vernon Monday, June 24.
Vitali Stefanski, 48, is facing a second-degree murder charge following the death of Tatjana Stefanski April 14.
Stefanski remains in custody and has not yet requested a bail hearing.
His next appearance is July 25 to consult legal counsel.
