A Cherryville power outage is affecting nearly 500 customers

UPDATE:

The lights are back on in Cherryville.

A tree down across wires caused the outage around 4 p.m., which was restored around 7 p.m. 

The outage impacted nearly 500 customers.

ORIGINAL:
Power is out in Cherryville for 490 customers.

The outage was sparked shortly after 4 p.m. east of Lumby Mabel Lake Road. 

A BC Hydro crew is on their way and expected to arrive at 5:25 p.m.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
