As the smell of turkey cooks inside the home, why not take in the smells of diesel, oil, and tires burning outdoors?
Yes, the always popular Armstrong Demolition Derby returns Sunday, Oct. 8, at the Interior Provincial Exhibition Fair Grounds.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and the metal mayhem of cars and trucks being smashed begins at 11:30.
This year’s derby will feature cars, trucks and mini-cars, with drivers and crews competing for more than $15,000 in cash and prizes.
Food vendors and a beverage garden will also be available.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students/seniors and kids under 10, accompanied by an adult, get in free. Cash only for the tickets.
