Annual Vernon sewage maintenance begins

Temporary lane closures will be required

Sewage inspection and maintenance will take place this week in Vernon.

Between Tuesday, May 30 and Sunday, June 10, crews will be working at various locations throughout the city, cleaning and inspecting lines, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Operators use a CCTV camera on wheels to inspect the sewer system.

Temporary lane closures will be required in areas where crews are working.

Motorists who are travelling in the area are asked to watch for crew members, slow down in work areas and follow all traffic control measures.
