An old playground in McLeod subdivision has officially been closed.
Proceeds from the disposal of the park will now be placed in the credit of the parkland acquisition reserve fund.
Council had approved an alternate approval response deadline of Oct. 18 with the number of responses required to not approve the park closure as 400.
“We had exactly zero responses,” said Spallumcheen chief financial officer Brian Freeman-Marsh.
A new park with new equipment was opened in the subdivision earlier this year.
