Quantities of heroin and methamphetamine were located in a hotel room

Vernon police have seized drugs as part of an investigation.

On Wednesday, the RCMP arrested a 24-year-old man from Delta.

"The man was residing in local hotels," said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

Following the arrest, officers obtained a search warrant for a hotel room and located quantities of heroin and methamphetamine, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
